Hello, I'm back from Yorkshire with lots of catching up to do, I will tell you all about my trip in another post. It is my Birthday today, it has been a quiet one but lovely all the same, again I will update you in another post.
As some of you may know I attended Chelmsford's Fling Festival last weekend, although it seems like ages ago now. This year was it's fourth year, I attended last year for the first time and as soon as the day was over I couldn't wait for this years.
I will be honest I was a little bit disappointed, it was practically the same as last years, with a few changes. It was spread over a much bigger area this year so I was expecting bigger and better things, maybe I was expecting too much, who knows. We still had a great day though.
There was plenty to do there, however I just got the feeling that we had done it all before, which was a shame.
This year there were 2 human penny peep shows.
There were lots of things going on around each of the tents in the form of entertainers.
James thought he would have ago at pie throwing (OK I had a go as well, it would have been rude not too!!!)
We found out, he is actually pretty good at it too
There was a great band there "New Town Kings"
I loved the name of this physic, just what you want to see hey! Ha ha
On the plus side James won the top prize in the charity casino, he picked 2 tickets for the local theatre, I will enjoy using those.
I think we will most probably give the event a miss next year, unless I find out that it is going to be different to previous years. I guess we will just have to wait until next year to find out.
Hope you have all had a lovely weekend
